The Trianel wind farm acquired full approval back in 2008. The location fulfils all necessary prerequisites. Shipping safety is not adversely affected and the installation and operation of the farm does not pose a threat to the ocean environment. Potential ecological effects were also investigated in the context of the environmental compatibility assessment. The investigation has revealed that the project will not have a negative impact on the nearby FFH (Fauna Flora Habitat) area. Strict noise protection restrictions ensure that sea mammals (porpoises) will not be disturbed.
