About Us
The Trianel Windpark Borkum is the first offshore wind farm to have been established under the direction of Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum GmbH & Co. KG with the exclusive involvement of 33 municipal utilities and regional energy suppliers. The project has enabled partners to contribute actively to a “greener” energy mix, to reduce CO
2
emissions and henceforth to supply customers with clean power from their own facilities.

Environmental compatibility
By its very nature, wind energy exploitation is a clean affair. When it is completed, the Trianel Windpark Borkum will lead to a reduction of CO
2
emissions of about 1.6 million tonnes and will thus make an important contribution to achieving climate protection targets.
